Hui Ming obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Singapore Management University, where she was the recipient of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association Prize for Top Student in International Commercialisation of Intellectual Property. Before that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies (with a minor in Chinese) from Nanyang Technological University.

Hui Ming was called to the Singapore Bar in 2014 and practised in the Intellectual Property department at Lee & Lee. She is currently a Senior Associate with David Llewelyn & Co LLC.

Hui Ming is also fluent in Mandarin.
